Of special interest are the stunning 13th century wall paintings, a rare watching loft, the shrines of St Alban and Amphibalus, the great Norman tower and the longest nave in England.
There are FREE daily tours of the Cathedral and a rich programme of events throughout the year, including concerts, exhibitions and family trails. The Cathedral is situated in the heart of the historic city of St Albans, just 20 minutes by train from central London.
