A breath of fresh air...minutes from the sparkling sea at Freshwater Bay and the stunning scenery of the Island’s heritage coastline. Family owned Afton Cottage Holidays offer a home from home experience in beautiful locations across the west of the Isle of Wight.


The accommodation consists of a two-storey cottage annexe to our own Victorian House.

The house is situated on the outskirts of Freshwater in a quiet residential area, and is adjacent to an apple orchard, where there are several acres of fruit trees, and an attractive garden nursery.

​The cottage is entirely self-contained, with its own grass driveway and parking. The accommodation consists of two bedrooms, one with a 4ft.6” double bed, the other has three single 3’ beds. There is a large bathroom with shower cubicle, bath, washbasin and toilet. Downstairs there are two reception rooms, a comfortable sitting room with sofa and armchairs, T.V., DVD and video, and a dining room with dresser, table and chairs. The kitchen is well equipped with a gas cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, iron, kettle, toaster and a large larder. There is a washing machine for your use.
Outside is an attractive paved area with flower tubs and table and chairs for eating al fresco. We have a swimming pool in the garden, which our guests are welcome to use between 10 am and 6 pm, this has to be at your own risk and children must be supervised at all times please. Babysitting can be arranged.
