Today the dairy is owned and managed by 3rd Generation cheesemakers Nick & Richard Kenyon, who continue to follow the Lancashire cheesemaking methods used by their grandfather and father before them.

Since late 2010, we have been powered with renewable wind energy, generated by our 126metre high onsite wind turbine and Dewlay is one of only a few dairies in the country where you can come and watch cheese being made from a purpose-built cheese viewing gallery - which is wheelchair accessible - and learn all about the history of Lancashire cheesemaking . You can also buy cheese directly from our award winning on-site cheese shop. Our cheese shop is open Monday-Friday 9:30am - 4:30pm and Saturdays 9:30am to 4pm. To see cheese being made, please visit anytime Monday to Friday between 9:30am and 11:30am.
