The pub itself has a good world beer and cask selection 20 draught lines to choose from. A happy hour also runs from 2pm to 8pm everyday apart from Saturdays. During the summer months the large outside area is a perfect place to enjoy a good beer in the sun. Mod's cafe is run inside the venue and is one of the few places in Manchester that caters exclusively for vegans.
The recently opened Zombie Shack above the Scholar is a Tiki cocktail paradise in the heart of Manchester. With a wide selection of strong cocktails. It hosts some of Manchester's best club nights/ band nights/ comedy - listings can be found on Facebook and the web sight. The venue has an intimate atmosphere with a great sound system for bands and club nights alike and can also be hired out for private functions.
