Located amongst Liverpool’s waterfront attractions, Underwater Street is a unique venue for families of children aged 2-10 years. However all ages are welcome and we are regularly visited by younger children (of walking age upwards) and older children who enjoy craft and science activities If you're looking for hi-tech gadgets then Underwater Street is not the place for you. We're all about good old fashioned hands-on play, stimulating the little-ones' imaginations and providing adults the opportunity to join in or sit back and observe from the centrally located cafe.

TOP TIP: Dress for mess!! When we say hands-on we mean "HANDS-ON": children are encouraged to get really involved in the activities and adults are more than welcome to join in. With activities such as painting a car, making giant bubbles, slime workshops, water activities, lemon juice rockets in our science show, digging for fossils in the sand and making some beautiful crafts from plaster it may not be the place to sport your brand new designer clothes!!

With our six imaginative play zones, variety of craft tables and ever changing themed themed activities you can be sure there is something for every personality. Highlights include the climbing wall, the real car to paint, the giant bubble area and Imagination Village where children can dress up and go to work in our shops.

Every weekend and school holiday we provide a schedule packed with fun and entertainment. With a new show or workshop every 20 minutes time just flies by and you'll wonder where the day went! Shows include Battle of the Scientists, balloon-powered car workshops and many changing themed activities such as Elf Bootcamp, Easter Bingo and country and western hoe-down.

All activities and events take place around our cafe serving a wide range of tasty meals and snacks.
