Deer’s Mead is an adult only camping and caravan park set in North Norfolk with all weather 'Super Pitches'. A tranquil and rural setting with luxury, modern facilities. Deer's Mead truly meets the high expectations of the 21st century guest. There are local Pubs within walking distance and the coast just 5 miles away.
Most of the pitches are fully serviced and hard standing, although we also offer a small number of fully serviced grass pitches which are suitable for tents. Our fully serviced ‘Super Pitches’ include, individual clean water supply, individual grey water access point, TV point, 16 amp electrical point and free WIFI.
The facilities block is a completely new build, built to the highest standards and includes, walk in wet rooms, underfloor heating, rooms are flooded with natural light, laundry room, washing up area, tourist information area with seating. There is a separate chemical toilet waste room with hot and cold running water for maximum hygiene.
Guests are welcome to use the fishing lake and small shop located at our sister site, Deer’s Glade, a short five minute drive away. Deer’s Glade has a popular animal paddock where guests can interact with the goats and sheep that live at the park, along with a friendly donkey. If you enjoy gentle walks, you'll be glad to know that there are a number of scenic walks heading from Deer’s Mead across the common.
There are several beautiful villages and towns close to the park, all of which feature welcoming local amenities including shops and public houses. One of the main attractions for tourists is the close proximity to the stunning Norfolk coast. With a nature reserve and sections of Heritage Coastline close by, there is plenty to do and loads of woodland activities and countryside to discover before even heading down to the sandy Norfolk beaches themselves!
When guests reach the sand, they will find safe, clean beaches where they can relax or enjoy ball games and other beach activities. Many of the beaches are dog friendly, although guests should note that only East Runton allows dogs all throughout the year.
With the adult’s only feature and natural setting, Deer's Mead Caravan and Camping Park is a wonderful, tranquil place ideal for a tent, motorhome or caravan holiday in Norfolk.
