Here at The Pathway Guesthouse you are ideally situated being only five minutes walk to visit the town and the excellent beaches. Visiitng the local attractions could not be easier, jumping onto the steam train to explore the scenic Esk valley from the train station in the town centre.
You will receive a warm welcome from Phil and Gillian, both local people, born and bred. We will set you up with a large breakfast using local produce from an award winning butcher, we also offer a vegetarian or celiac option. If you like the idea of fish for breakfast we serve smoked salmon with scrambled eggs, local fortunes smoked kipper fillets and now have added smoked haddock poached in milk and butter served with eggs of your choice.
The Pathway is a Victorian property in which we have retained many of the original features, a nice seated area at the front of the house with a fish pond adds to this old property.
