Set in the scenic beauty of the Severn valley Coalport station is one of England's most romantic secrets. Up until 1968 Coalport station was served by the line running from Shrewsbury to Bridgnorth. Further downriver some of that line remains in use as home to the Severn Valley Steam Railway. Coalport Station station however, is now a home, and host to two fabulous vintage carriages offering quite exceptional accommodation. The Old Station is in a charming, peaceful, rural setting where you can unwind in comfort, surrounded by beautiful woodland. We are situated in the picturesque surroundings of the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site overlooking the River Severn at Coalport and located on the Severn Valley Way (cycle route 45) between Ironbridge and Bridgnorth.

Our sumptuously equipped carriages boast the ultimate in modern conveniences including: air conditioning lounge/dining/kitchen with fridge / freezers, dishwashers, washer-dryers, flat screen TV, DVD. Carriage
1, one ensuite whirlpool bathroom, two further twin cabins and a shower room, sleeps 6. Carriage 2, two ensuite,
whirlpool bathrooms with walk-in-showers sleeps 4. The Station’s peaceful setting is within walking distance of the attractions, quality food and traditional ales.
