The Old Vicarage is a Grade II listed medieval house with a Georgian makeover set in half an acre of gardens in the centre of the pretty estate village of Kilmersdon in Somerset
There are two beautiful suites available with Cowshed products in the bathroom/shower.
Our aim is to provide a quiet, relaxed atmosphere - breakfast is served any time 'til mid day.
We can provide room service or you are welcome to eat in our lovely kitchen.
The house sits at the bottom of the Jack and Jill Hill in Kilmersdon, Somerset. (We are on the Colliers Way cycle route no. 24)
We are centrally positioned near Wells, Mells, Frome, Bath and Bristol - ideal for day excursions.
There are several notable National Trust properties in this area: Lytes Cary, Montacute House and Stourhead to name but a few. Longleat is also nearby.
The village has a great pub - the Jolliffe Arms - which serves vast portions of delicious pub food from vegetarian to lamb shanks.
The Holcombe Inn and the Talbot Inn in Mells also provide good beer and excellent dining.
Babington House - a private members hotel - is less than two miles away - within walking distance through the Babington woods.
Hauser and Wirth, the new art gallery complex in Bruton is 11 miles away. It also has a fine restaurant created by At The Chapel
