It is an ideal base for those wishing to explore the many attractions the area has to offer such as fishing, walking, cycling, golfing, horse riding, or visit the archaeological and historical sites. It also, is the perfect getaway to those wishing for a quiet relaxing holiday there are many beauty rooms and day spa’s in the area to make you feel refreshed and rejuvenated. For those girlies weekends, pamper packages in the comfort of Caitlin’s cottage are available on request.
It is located 1 hour from both Belfast and Dublin, giving visitors the opportunity to adventure further afield. Caitlin’s Cottage offers you outstanding accommodation that will have you coming back for more. Traditional and luxury features in a cosy and peaceful environment.
Caitlin’s Cottage comfortably sleeps 6 people it comprises of 3 bedrooms, 2 double rooms one of which is ensuite and a twin room. All 3 bedrooms have Plasma screen TV’s with satellite channels.
As you walk in the front door a small porch leads you into a large open plan living dining area, with 2 wood-burning stoves and large plasma screen TV with built in satellite channels and a DVD player with a library of DVD’s to use during your stay.
The modern style ivory and green painted kitchen has all the modern essential everyday convenience’s, rangemaster cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, ipod docking station.
The main bathroom has a separate bath and shower.
The utility room has a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron & ironing board, hairdryer.
There is an outhouse which will be appreciated by keen anglers, golfers and water sports enthusiasts for wet gear storage, which includes a fridge for fresh bait. It also has a separate WC and wash hand basin in this facility.
There is a very spacious outdoor area, with patio furniture and BBQ. To the back of the cottage guests have the opportunity to use the private walk way down to Kiltybane Lake, anglers can be granted a complimentary fishing licence to use during their stay.
