After an exhilarating day of cycling or walking the Great Glen, canoeing the Caledonian Canal, or perhaps experiencing the very best of Scottish wildlife up close with Caledonian Discovery’s resident expert on its Wildlife & Sea Lochs cruises, guests return to the barge each night to home-cooked meals using only the freshest ingredients, share stories of their adventures and make plans for the following day before retiring to en-suite cabins to prepare for the next day’s activities. What could be better?
Each of Caledonian Discovery’s barges are generously proportioned with large en-suite cabins and public areas, including a dining table which seats 18 and comfortable lounge area, a fully-stocked bar and ample space on deck for relaxing, sun-bathing or watching the stunning Highland scenery and wildlife go by. Each barge can accommodate 12 guests and single occupancy is available.
Caledonian Discovery offers an exciting range of active breaks to suit all – from families to groups of friends or individual travellers – with cruises traveling either east to west (from Inverness to Banavie) or west to east on the return route.
