The best holiday cottage we have stayed in by a country mile. Spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed and furnished throughout.

My wife walked in the door and said this was her ideal home!! I wholeheartedly agree. You will not be disappointed. We had a fabulous half term week in this stunning property.

The house is amazing, with lots of spaces to rest and play, beautifully and thoughtfully decorated.

About Hendersyde's traditional farm cottages...

We stayed in East Cottage in August and had a fantastic week exploring the Borders and Northumberland. The views from the cottage are picture postcard - rolling fields, big skies.

The cottage itself was very comfortable and pretty. We loved the garden and as we had sunny weather, we were able to spend a fair bit of time sitting and taking in the view as well as nibbling on raspberries and blackcurrants!

Sue is a wonderful host - nothing was too much trouble for her, she was on hand to help with all sorts of stuff - like lending us a laptop and even returning my mobile phone to me from a shop that I had left it in in Kelso!!

The farm surroundings are beautifully kept - even the driveway to the cottages had been thoughtfully planted up with trees. It was a real pleasure to stay there. We'd love to come back !
