The house offers a central location which is ideal for sight seeing. It is only 5 minutes walk downtown and it is within walking distance of the ferry terminal and the harbour. Take the opportunity to take one of the stunning walks round the Castle Grounds where you will see over 100 different species of trees, Herons flying overhead (this is the only place where herons nest in trees) and enjoy the river, the moor and the grounds. At any time of the year affording you fresh air and spectacular scenery. Why not take a picnic and make it a day worth remembering!
Why not relax on the chaise longue and listen to your favourite music or lie back with a good book while your dinner is cooking slowly in the kitchen! There is a good selection of dishes and pans and cookery books for the keen cook!
