Granary Cottage is a stylish and comfortable self catering cottage set in the old courtyard of Ty Gwyn Farm. The cottage retains its character whilst providing modern facilities.
Surrounded by farmland and with stunning views, it is the ideal base for a peaceful and relaxing holiday in Mid Wales. There is plenty of walking, either around the farm or on longer walks over the rolling hills. Quiet and away from it all, yet we are only two and a half miles from the Victorian spa town of Llandrindod Wells which has small shops as well as three supermarket, restaurants, a small theatre, spa gardens and a 13 acre lake with a Welsh dragon in the centre!
Granary Cottage has two en-suite bedrooms, one a twin bedded and one a double bedded on the ground floor which has a walk in shower in the bathroom as well as a bath. Upstairs a light and comfortable sitting room has views over the hills. Lighting is versatile and allows for atmospheric soft lighting as well as good direct light for reading. TV, Freeview and DVD player, CD player and radio and plenty of books and games. Downstairs there is a kitchen /dining room with dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, fridge, oven and hob. There is a good range of attractive crockery, glass, cutlery and cooking pans and utensils. Full central heating
Directly outside there is a small terrace perfect for catching the morning sun and there is a private garden through the main garden. We welcome well behaved dogs. A kennel is available if required. Granary Cottage has free WiFi.
