We are in a traditional mountain village in the Snowdonia National Park, that has a charm of its own. Our pub, the Slaters Arms is only 200m away. It is a Cambra registered pub owned by a Welsh micro brewery. It is community centre in every sense and you will enjoy the quaint welcoming atmosphere. In regards to outside activities, we are in a very beautiful part of the mountains of Cadair Idris. There are plenty of outdoor activities including the Craft Centre with many 'hands on' activities and King Arthurs Labyrinth- going by boat 1/2 mile into the mountain. The Centre of Alternative Technology, the worlds first Eco centre, which has just celebrated its 40th anniversary and there are two different narrow gauge railways among other attractions. Machynlleth, six miles down the valley, is the ancient capitol of Wales and centre for the Dyfi Biosphere, one of four in the UK and well worth a visit.
