Come explore the coast less paddled with Sitka Sound Ocean Adventures. We are a small family owned & operated business that specializes in running premier quality guided sea kayak trips in Sitka Sound and along the outer coast of Baranof Island - an area that offers some of the most spectacular kayak terrain in the world.
All of our trips are conducted with a small group size to ensure personalized attention for all guests, and we welcome the opportunity to design custom/private tours. On all trips - even our 2.5-hour Harbor & islands Paddle - it is possible to see humpback whales, sea lions, porpoise, sea otters, harbor seals and other species of wildlife.
In addition to day tours, we also provide outfitting & multi-day guiding services, and water taxi transportation to Forest Service cabins, trailheads and remote locations up to 60-miles from Sitka.
