This 1890's residence is just steps away from Glass Beach, the Skunk Train, downtown shops, galleries and award winning restaurants, North Coast Brewing Company and Tap Room, The Guests House Museum, and Tattoo Museum, and the new Coastal Trail. It's also just a few miles from Mendocino Village, MacKerricher State Park, Point Cabrillo Light House, Anderson Valley Wineries, Redwood forests, and miles of hiking and biking trails.
The first recorded deed states that an L.A. Moody purchased this residence September 25, 1893 from the Union Lumber Company "for a consideration of $500." It has been lovingly and thoughtfully restored with your comfort in mind. All of our rooms feature private baths, Garden views, lush linens, down comforters, and Tempurpedic bed toppers. Two of our room also have fireplaces. After a busy day exploring the Mendocino Coast relax in our hot tub on a private redwood deck, surrounded by a quaint garden lit by dozens of little white lights in the camellia trees.
Here at the Country Inn we believe that breakfast at a Bed & Breakfast should be an experience unto itself. We strive to provide our guests with a unique culinary experience.We serve a different freshly prepared meal each day.
The daily menu is influenced by special dietary concerns from guests, what is fresh and in season, and the number of guests at each breakfast seating. Every breakfast features fresh organic eggs from our own hens.
