Located on an estate built by an Englishman in 1872, Blue Skies Inn is a bed and breakfast at the base of the Rocky Mountains.
City founder Dr. William Bell was one of first European setllers of Manitou Springs, a small Colorado mountain village that was centered around mineral springs. Early pioneers travelling westward stopped here before going further West to mine for gold and silver.

Three new inn buildings were inspired by a Gothic Revival carriage house built on the property in 1872, very old by Colorado standards. Ten very large suites are painted with varying themes - there's one for everybody! Enjoy Ferdinand's Garden suite, decorated to honor the first gardener who planted wondrous gardens here in the 1800's by Pikes Peak. The inn is family-friendly with beds for everyone. Being new and having super-insulated construction, the inn is perfect for quiet getaway lodging, too.

Our wooded gardens have waterfalls and quiet places to enjoy a book. If you wish for a beautiful garden in which to wed, Blue Skies Inn has that as well. A full hot breakfast is served as room service to enjoy in a private sitting room or while listening to birds outdoors. Come visit to hike the Colorado mountains or to enjoy a charming, historic town - there are fun things to keep you busy for many days.
