Nestled at the foot of the 14,000 foot Collegiate Peaks Range and on the banks of the Arkansas River, Buena Vista is a wonderful place to visit for friendly, small town atmosphere. This historic railroad town served the local mining industry during the late 1800’s and now serves as the central point for the Arkansas River Valley’s many recreational activities.

The are many things to do in Buena Vista and the surrounding Arkansas River Valley area. For the adventurous, try white water rafting or off-roading on 4x4 trails. Maybe golfing or fly fishing is more your style. For total relaxation, don’t forget to visit the Natural Odorless Hot Springs.
