Inside the Visitors Center are more trolley cars, some which you can go into along with many static displays and information boards. There is a movie shown in the theater telling you how the museum began and a gift shop to purchase that special souvenir. Picnic tables are set up on the front lawn so bring your lunch and sit and enjoy watching the trolley cars arrive and depart from the station.

Included with your admission is entrance into the Connecticut Fire Museum which houses antique fire trucks and apparatus. It is located on the same grounds as the trolley museum.

The museums are both closed Jan-March. Group rates are available and there are many different events held throughout the year.
