Americans lived, worked, entertained, and served for nearly 200 years at Tudor Place, and their presence still resonates. Hear their stories as you tour the home, and take in their iconic collections, all connected to historic growth and change of a young nation.
The finest American architecture, domestic and international art and decorative arts, and the stuff of everyday lives are gathered here, illustrating the experiences of owners, servants, enslaved workers, and the city developing around them. Tudor Place is in the leafy neighborhood of Georgetown Heights and the charming Book Hill shopping district, near an abundance of shops, cafes and galleries. Open Tuesdays through Sundays, with tours offered hourly.
