Double R's Fishing & Tour Co. provides excellent offshore and backwater fishing trips within the Ten Thousand Islands in the Everglades. Offshore fishing produces many different species including Tarpon, Goliath Grouper, Shark, Pompano, Permit, Cobia and Red Fish just to name a few. Backwater fishing yields Trout, Whiting, Black Drum, Mangrove Snapper, Tarpon and Sheepshead. Double R's also conducts a very unique Ecotour throughout the 10,000 Islands. Boating through the largest mangrove jungle in the United States, guests are likely to see Manatee, Alligators, Dolphin and many varieties of tropical birds. Our Coast Guard Certified Captains are extremely well versed in the history of the area and its' glorious inhabitants. Double R's also offers an extended tour, 3 hours in duration, which includes beaching the boat on a deserted island called Whitehorse Key where our guests can depart the boat for 30 minutes of shelling and wandering about.
