We are a Bed and Breakfast located in the Beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota, not far from Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park and within an hours drive to everything else within the Black Hills.
Breakfast is served each day at a table with a view of Mt. Rushmore, the Shrine to Democracy, which is about 4 miles away. Each day our guests leave the lodge with a map and printed driving directions in order to help them get the best use of their time while in the area. We also offer a dessert each evening as we gather to watch the lights come on at the monument.
There is a 3 night minimum stay during the months of June, July, August and September. Buffalo Rock Lodge has three guests rooms, all with private baths and a jetted spa tub. Two of the rooms have two queen beds, one also has a futon sofa bed to accommodate families with children over the age of 8.
Our lodge enjoys a 5-start rating with Trip Adviser, has been written up in Fodor's Travel books and Mid-West Living magazine, with the additional honor of having been selected "Best in the West", Bed and Breakfast Inns. We recommend you book at least several months in advance for prime season lodging. Rates start at $135 per night, plus tax.
