Are you ready for an offshore adventure? If so, the Harvest Moon Regatta might be just for you! Founded in 1987, this annual event has grown from just under 20 boats to over 200! The 150 nautical-mile race begins at the Flagship Hotel Pier in Galveston. It follows the Texas coast down to Port Aransas over the course of 2 days and 2 nights, when the night sky is dominated by the beautiful harvest moon.

Everyone is invited to participate as a crew member! We will be offering the ASA 106 (Advanced Coastal Cruising) during our voyage to Port Aransas and the ASA 103 & 104 Combo Class (Basic Coastal Cruising and Bareboat Chartering) on the trip back, but you don't need to earn the certifications to participate! If you wish to earn the certifications, please keep in mind that you must already have the prerequisites for each class. Advanced Coastal Cruising students must have the Basic Keelboat through Coastal Navigation, and Combo students need only the Basic Keelboat certification. South Coast will provide transportation to and from Port Aransas for those who choose not to sail round-trip.
