Winds reaching over 100 mph have cause chaos in parts of Scotland, Northern and Eastern England, causing many trees to fall and severe travel disruptions. As the winds move south warnings of the worst coastal flooding in 30 year have been issued for North Wales and the East of England.
The Environment Agency flood warnings page currently shows 28 Severe flood warnings, most for East Anglia, one for the South East and two For Wales. Severe flood warnings mean that immediate actions should be taken because there is danger to life.
There are also 160 Flood warnings, one level down from a Severe flood warning. Flood warnings mean that immediate action should be taken. These warnings affect many areas of the UK including East Anglia, The Midlands, North East, North West, South East and Wales.
