Wednesday the 21st of June is the longest day of the year, it's Summer Solstice and if you live in the south east of England, you are in for day that will bring the UK officially into a heat wave. With temperatures set to reach as high as 34c in London, it will be the hottest Summer Solstice on record, and the hottest June day in 40 years.
People are advised to use adequate sun protection if going outside.
If you're going to he Summer Solstice celebrations at Stonehenge then it will be slightly cooler, but still reaching 29c by mid afternoon. The temperature overnight will be around 20c, reaching 23c by mid morning.
