The Met office has issues a Yellow weather warning for most of the of the south of England and the Midlands, The weather warning reads...
Thundery showers are expected to push north across southern parts of the UK through Tuesday evening. Although many places won't see these showers, there is a chance of localised flooding of homes, businesses and susceptible roads. Frequent lightning may be an additional hazard with possible disruption to power networks. Similarly, but very locally, hail may cause impacts.
The environment agency has also issued several Flood warnings for London, warning that expected torrential rain fall may result in flooding to low lying land, roads and riverside gardens on Tuesday evening. Surface water flooding in urban areas is also possible.
