Winds of 60 -80mph bring the rist of fallen trees and damage to weakened structures.

The third storm in as many days is due to hit the UK Tuesday afternoon (17th November 2015). This time the south of England, South and Mid Wales, and the Midlands will be worst affected. A Yellow weather warning of wind has been issued for these regions.

Storm Barney is a deep area of low pressure which will move across southern Ireland and then the Midlands on Tuesday afternoon and evening. Strong winds are likely to develop on the southern flank of the low, with gusts potentially reaching 60 - 80mph.

The public should be aware of the risk of disruption to travel and that gusts of this strength could bring down trees and lead to some damage to weakened structures.
