The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for heavy rain in South West England and Wales. The warning is in effect from 00:00 (UTC) on Saturday, January 7 to 09:00 (UTC) on Saturday, January 7.

Heavy rain is expected to cause some travel disruption & flooding, particularly on Saturday morning. There is a risk of flooding, as well as longer journey times due to spray and flooding on roads. Bus and train services may also be affected.

Residents in the affected areas are advised to take precautions including avoiding driving or walking through flood water, staying up to date on local weather conditions, and following any instructions from local authorities.
